Here a few examples of the many organizations and groups that support children and young people with SEN and their families in Surrey and London. It may be helpful to contact your local authority or your child’s school for more information on local SEN support services.

Surrey SENDIASS: Surrey SENDIASS (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service) provides free and impartial information, advice and support to parents and carers of children and young people with SEN. They can help with issues such as education, health, and social care, and can also provide support with the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process.

Surrey Coalition of Disabled People: Surrey Coalition of Disabled People is a user-led organization that promotes the rights and interests of disabled people in Surrey. They provide information, advice and support to disabled people and their families, and work to ensure that their voices are heard in local decision-making.

The Inclusion Hub: The Inclusion Hub is a service provided by Surrey County Council that supports mainstream schools in meeting the needs of children and young people with SEN. They can provide advice and support on a range of issues, including differentiation, individual education plans, and inclusion strategies.

The Autism Trust: The Autism Trust is a charity that provides support and services to people with autism and their families. They offer a range of activities and programs, including work experience and employment opportunities, and have a cafe and shop that provide training and employment for people with autism.

Dyslexia Action: Dyslexia Action is a national charity that provides support and services for people with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties. They offer assessments, tuition, and training for teachers, parents, and professionals.
